So, you're curious about Spm, huh? The guy who made headlines, not just for his music, but also for his... let's say, extended vacation behind bars. Well, grab a coffee, get comfy, 'cause we're diving in.

First things first, who's Spm, you ask? Only one of Sweden's most notorious rappers, known for his raw, unfiltered lyrics and, well, his unique fashion sense. Now, let's talk age. You might be thinking, "Was he, like, a teenager when he got locked up?" Nope, not quite.

Age is just a number, right?

Spm, whose real name is Mårten Olof Magnus Brodda, was born on June 17, 1980. So, do the math. When he was sentenced to prison in 2012, he was... drumroll please... 32 years old. Yep, you heard it right. He was a grown man, with a grown man's rap sheet.

Now, you might be wondering, "What did he do to deserve a spot in the big house?" Well, friend, that's a story in itself. Spm was convicted for, among other things, attempted murder, assault, and robbery. Quite the resume, huh?

The Truth Behind SPM's Jail Sentence

From the streets to the studio

Spm's rise to fame was as dramatic as his fall. Born and raised in the tough suburbs of Stockholm, he started rapping in his late teens. His lyrics were brutal, honest, and reflected the reality of life on the streets. Fans loved it, but the authorities? Not so much.

His music career was, well, interrupted by his prison stint. He was released in 2017, only to be re-arrested in 2019. But that's a story for another time. For now, let's just say, Spm's life has been a rollercoaster ride, and he's still got plenty of stories to tell.
