How Old Is Reo Speedwagon Lead Singer

Alright, gather 'round, folks. We're about to dive into the musical time capsule and figure out just how old Reo Speedwagon's lead singer, Kevin Cronin, really is. Now, I'm not talking about his musical age, you know, like how a fine wine gets better with time. I'm talking about his actual, chronological age. The one that's stamped on his birth certificate, not the one that's etched on his guitar.

Let's Set the Stage

Imagine you're at a Reo Speedwagon concert. The lights dim, the crowd roars, and out struts Kevin Cronin, guitar slung low, hair flowing like a rock 'n' roll waterfall. You look at him, and you think, "Man, he's got that timeless rockstar vibe going on." But how old is he, really?

Well, let's take a trip back in time. All the way back to... drumroll please... 1951. That's right, folks. Kevin Cronin was born in the same year as the first-ever McDonald's restaurant opened. Now, that's what I call a classic.

From the '60s to the '70s

Now, picture this. It's the groovy '60s. Kevin's just a kid, probably trying to figure out what all those Beatles songs are about. Meanwhile, in the '70s, he's forming Reo Speedwagon and singing hits like "Keep On Loving You" and "Take It On the Run". He's young, he's hungry, and he's got that classic rock sound on lockdown.

But here's the thing, folks. While he was busy making hits, time was busy making... well, time. And before you know it, we're in the '80s, then the '90s, and now, we're in the 21st century. And Kevin? He's still rockin'.

So, How Old Is He?

As of 2022, Kevin Cronin is 71 years old. That's right, folks. He's older than the first video game, older than the first cell phone, and older than the first time someone said, "That's not a phase, mom!"

But you know what? He doesn't look a day over... well, maybe 55. That's the magic of rock 'n' roll, folks. It keeps you young. Or maybe it's just good genes and a whole lot of hair product.

Still Going Strong

So, there you have it. Kevin Cronin, the lead singer of Reo Speedwagon, is 71 years young. And he's still out there, touring, making music, and proving that rock 'n' roll isn't just a genre, it's a lifestyle.

Next time you're singing along to "Can't Fight This Feeling", remember, that's not just a song, it's a testament to a man who's been rockin' for over half a century. And that, my friends, is something to celebrate.
