Is Sammy The Bull Gravano Still Alive

So, you're probably wondering, "Is Sammy 'The Bull' Gravano still alive?" Well, buckle up, my friend, 'cause we're about to dive into the world of organized crime, FBI witness protection, and a whole lot of '90s nostalgia.

Meet Sammy 'The Bull'

Let's rewind the clock to the late '80s, when Sammy 'The Bull' Gravano was a big cheese in the Gambino crime family. He was so feared, they even made a movie about him - 'Goodfellas'! Remember that scene where Ray Liotta's character, Henry Hill, says, "I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse"? That was Sammy, folks!

But here's where things get interesting. In 1991, Sammy decided to sing like a canary. He flipped on his boss, John Gotti, and became the highest-ranking mafia member ever to turn informant. Talk about a plot twist!

Witness Protection: The New York Minute

After Sammy's testimony, the FBI tucked him away in witness protection. They changed his name, gave him a new identity, and sent him packing. But here's the thing - Sammy wasn't exactly your typical low-key informant. He had a bit of a... let's say, 'flair' for the dramatic.

In 1997, he was arrested for running a ecstasy ring in Arizona. I mean, come on, Sammy! You're supposed to be laying low, not partying like it's 1999!

After that little mishap, Sammy was sentenced to 20 years in prison. But even behind bars, he couldn't keep his mouth shut. He wrote a tell-all book, "Underboss," and even made a few appearances on the History Channel's "Gangs of New York." Talk about a media mogul!

So, Is Sammy Still Alive?

Alright, alright, you're probably dying to know if Sammy 'The Bull' Gravano is still kicking. Well, as of my last check, Sammy is still alive and well, serving out his prison sentence in a federal penitentiary. He's set to be released in 2020, so who knows what adventures await him next?

But hey, even if Sammy does make it out of prison, don't expect him to be posting on Instagram or tweeting his whereabouts. The FBI's witness protection program is no joke, and Sammy's new identity is about as secret as the recipe for Coca-Cola.
