How Much Money Does Simone Biles Make

Alright, gather 'round, folks. I've got a tale to tell about a certain Simone Biles. You know, the one who's been flipping and twisting her way into our hearts (and medal counts) since she was a wee tot. Now, you might be wondering, "How much moolah does this tiny powerhouse make?" Well, buckle up, because we're about to dive into the fascinating, somewhat mind-boggling world of Simone Biles' earnings.

First things first: The Olympics

Let's start at the beginning, shall we? Simone's Olympic debut was in 2016, and boy, did she make an entrance. She walked away with four medals - gold in the team and all-around competitions, and bronze on the beam and floor. Now, you might think that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) would roll out the red carpet and shower her with cash, but alas, that's not quite how it works.

Here's where it gets a tad confusing. The IOC doesn't give out cash prizes for medals. Nope, they give out diplomas. Yes, you read that right. Imagine going to your boss and saying, "Hey, I just won a gold medal, can I have a raise?" And they're like, "Sure thing, champ! Here's a fancy piece of paper!"

But don't worry, Simone didn't go home empty-handed. She was part of the U.S. team that won the team gold, which came with a $15,000 bonus per athlete from the U.S. Olympic Committee. Not too shabby for a piece of paper, huh?

Endorsements: The real gold

Now, where there's a will, there's a way, and Simone's team sure knew how to capitalize on her success. Endorsement deals started rolling in faster than Simone can flip on the beam. According to Forbes, she made a cool $2 million in 2016 alone, thanks to sponsors like Nike, Procter & Gamble, and Hershey's.

And get this - she's got her own line of leotards with GK Elite! I mean, who wouldn't want to wear the same outfit as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)? I'm pretty sure I'd flip a few times myself if I had one.

But Simone's not just about the Benjamins (that's cash money, for those playing at home). She's also using her platform to advocate for important causes like mental health and athlete safety. She's even testified before Congress about the latter. Now that's what I call making an impact.

Books, TV, and more

Simone's not just a gymnastic phenom; she's also a media darling. She's written two books - "Courage to Soar" and "Becoming Simone Biles" - and has even had a Lifetime biopic made about her. I mean, if that's not the ultimate flex, I don't know what is.

And let's not forget her appearances on shows like "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Ellen Degeneres Show". She's basically become a national treasure at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if they named a new ice cream flavor after her - "Biles Berry Blast", perhaps?

So, how much is she worth?

Alright, let's do some math. As of 2021, Simone's net worth is estimated to be around $6 million. That's right, folks - six million dollars. And considering she's only 24 (yes, you read that right - she's only 24!), I have a feeling that number's only going to go up.

But remember, folks, it's not just about the money. It's about the impact she's making on the world, one flip at a time. So here's to Simone Biles - the GOAT, the inspiration, and the tiny powerhouse who's showing us all that you can achieve greatness, no matter how small you might be.
