What Is Keenen Ivory Wayans Doing Now

Ever wondered what the mastermind behind In Living Color and the Scary Movie franchise has been up to lately? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into the creative world of Keenen Ivory Wayans and find out what's got him tickled pink these days.

From Comedy to Cooking: A Spicy Mix

You might've caught Keenen as a judge on Last Comic Standing, but did you know he's also been flexing his culinary muscles? That's right, folks! This multi-talented guy has been trading laughs for ladles, dishing out some mouth-watering meals on his YouTube channel, Keenen's Kitchen. Talk about a side-splitting, taste-bud-tickling combo, huh?

But why the sudden switch to the kitchen, you ask? Well, Keenen's always been a foodie at heart. He told The Breakfast Club that cooking helps him relax and connect with his family. Plus, who wouldn't want to see this comedy king whipping up some mean mac 'n' cheese? I mean, if it's anything like his humor, we're in for a treat!

Back to His Comedy Roots

Now, you might be thinking, "That's all well and good, but when's Keenen getting back to making us laugh 'til our sides ache?" Well, hold onto your hats, 'cause he's got a few tricks up his sleeve. Keenen's been busy working on a new comedy series, White Man's Burden, which is set to air on Showtime. This time around, he's tackling race relations in a way that only he can – with humor, heart, and a whole lot of honesty.

In true Keenen fashion, he's not afraid to dive headfirst into the tough stuff. Think of it like a comedy version of Get Out, but with even more laughs and a whole lot of Wayans charm. Plus, with a cast that includes Jay Pharoah and David Alan Grier, you know it's gonna be one wild ride.

Passing the Torch to the Next Gen

But Keenen's not just focusing on his own projects – he's also been busy mentoring the next generation of comedic geniuses. His nephew, Damon Wayans Jr., has been making waves with his hilarious roles on New Girl and Happy Endings. And let's not forget about Marlon Wayans, who's been keeping the laughs coming with his self-titled sitcom, Marlon.

Keenen's been like a comedy Yoda, passing on his wisdom and laughter to the younger generation. And we're all the better for it. After all, who wouldn't want to see more of those famous Wayans grins lighting up our screens?
