Dave's Early Days and the Big Break

Dave wasn't always the "King of the Yard" you see on TV. He started out as a small-time buyer, scouring storage auctions for hidden treasures. Then, one day, he stumbled upon a unit filled with valuable collectibles. That's when his luck turned, and he became a regular on the A&E show.

But here's the thing, folks. Dave's not just about the money. He's a history buff at heart, and he loves uncovering the stories behind the stuff he finds. He's like a real-life Indiana Jones, but instead of snakes and booby traps, he's got to deal with Barry and his... unique bidding strategies.

Dave's Departure and the Mystery Surrounding It

Now, you might remember Dave disappearing from the show back in 2012. Rumors swirled like a storm, and fans were left scratching their heads. What happened? Well, it turns out, Dave had a falling out with the show's producers. He sued them, claiming he was fired for complaining about the show's fake bidding and staged drama.

But here's where it gets interesting. Dave didn't just fade into the sunset. No, no, no. He took his passion for storage auctions and turned it into a new venture. He started his own company, Dave Hester Auctions, and he's been hosting his own auctions ever since.
