How Did Guillermo Get On Jimmy Kimmel

So, you're probably wondering, how did this Guillermo guy end up on Jimmy Kimmel? I mean, it's not like he woke up one morning, rolled out of bed, and thought, "Hey, I think I'll just pop by Jimmy's place for a chat." No, no, no. This is a story that's been brewing for years, like a good cup of coffee.

From Mexico to Hollywood

Picture this: A young guy from Mexico, named Guillermo, moves to LA to pursue his dreams in showbiz. Now, we've all had that friend who moves to the big city with stars in their eyes, right? Except, this isn't just any friend. This is Guillermo, who, by the way, has a face that could launch a thousand ships. Or at least, a thousand laughs.

Guillermo starts off as an extra on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which, if you've ever been an extra, you know is about as exciting as watching paint dry. But our guy, he's persistent. He's like that little plant you keep forgetting to water, but it just keeps on growing.

From Extra to Sidekick

One day, Jimmy Kimmel sees this plant - I mean, Guillermo - and thinks, "Hmm, this guy's got potential." So, he starts giving Guillermo little bits on the show. You know, like when you give your dog a treat for being extra good. Only, Guillermo isn't just any dog. He's a golden retriever in a sea of poodles.

Guillermo starts doing these crazy bits, like trying to learn English from a dictionary, or attempting to ride a mechanical bull. And you know what? The audience loves it. They're laughing so hard, they're practically rolling in the aisles. Jimmy sees this and thinks, "Well, would you look at that? I've got a star on my hands."

From Sidekick to Star

Next thing you know, Guillermo's got his own segment, "Guillermo's Hollywood Roundup." It's like when your kid brings home a painting from school, and you're so proud, you hang it up in the living room. Only, this painting is hilarious, and everyone wants to see it.

Guillermo's not just a sidekick anymore. He's a star. He's got his own bit, he's traveling with the show, he's even got his own action figure. I mean, come on! Who hasn't wanted an action figure at some point in their life?
