How Old Is Eddie From Stranger Things

Hey there, fellow Stranger Things enthusiasts! You know how we're all obsessed with the Upside Down and the gang's adventures in Hawkins? Well, today we're going to chat about something a little different - how old is Eddie Munson, the rad guitar-slinging metalhead who stole our hearts in season four?

So, Eddie, how old are you?

Alright, let's dive into this. Eddie Munson, played by the incredibly talented Joseph Quinn, is a new addition to the Stranger Things family. He's the leader of the Hellfire Club, a Dungeons & Dragons group that becomes entangled in the latest supernatural shenanigans. But how old is this brave, guitar-wielding hero?

Well, here's where it gets a bit tricky. The show doesn't give us a straight answer. You won't find an "Eddie Munson is 17 years old" line in the script. But don't worry, we're not left completely in the dark. We can use some good old-fashioned deduction to figure this out.

Let's compare notes with our favorite Hawkins students

Eddie is a student at Hawkins High, just like our core group of friends. So, let's see how he stacks up against them. Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven are all 15 or 16 during season four. Max is a year younger, at 14. Now, Eddie is older than them, but not by much. He's got that whole "wise beyond his years" vibe going on.

So, if we're looking at the cast's real ages, Joseph Quinn is 29. But remember, he's playing a teenager. In the world of Stranger Things, Eddie is probably around 17 or 18. He's older than the main group, but still a teenager, making him a senior at Hawkins High.

Why does Eddie's age matter?

You might be thinking, "Who cares how old Eddie is? He's awesome either way!" And you're right, Eddie is awesome regardless. But his age does give us some insight into his character and the story. As one of the older students, Eddie has a bit more life experience. He's seen some things, you know? This makes him a great mentor figure for the younger kids, especially when it comes to navigating the complexities of high school and the dangers of the Upside Down.

Plus, let's not forget that Eddie's age allows him to have some unique perspectives on the events unfolding in Hawkins. He's not just a kid anymore, but he's not an adult either. This puts him in a unique position to help the younger characters grow and learn.

So, is Eddie a teenager or not?

In the end, it doesn't really matter if Eddie is 17 or 18. What matters is that he's a badass who stands up for his friends and isn't afraid to rock out on his guitar. Whether he's a senior or just a really mature junior, Eddie Munson is a welcome addition to the Stranger Things family.

So, there you have it, folks! Our best guess at Eddie's age. Now, let's get back to binge-watching season four and jamming out to some Metallica. Until next time, keep those theories coming, and remember - friends don't lie, friends don't lie!
