How Old Was Finn Wolfhard In Season 3

So, you're curious about the age of Finn Wolfhard in Stranger Things Season 3, huh? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're diving into the Upside Down of time and age, where things get a little... twisty.

Let's Set the Scene

Picture this: it's the summer of 1985, and our gang of misfits is back in Hawkins, Indiana. The ice cream's melting, the sun's scorching, and the kids are... well, they're still kids. But how old are they, really?

Now, before we dive into the deep end of the pool, let's get one thing straight. Finn Wolfhard, the charming Canadian actor who plays Mike Wheeler, was born on December 24, 2002. That's right, folks. He's a Christmas baby, just like baby Jesus. But unlike Jesus, Finn didn't start his acting career at the age of 33. No, no, no. He started young.

So, How Old Was Finn in Season 3?

Alright, let's do some math. Stranger Things Season 3 was released in July 2019. Finn was, let's see... 16 years old. But wait! We're not done yet. We need to figure out how old he was when they were filming.

Filming for Season 3 started in April 2018. So, Finn was... hold onto your hats... 15 years old when they started shooting. Can you believe it? The kid who plays the lovestruck Mike Wheeler was just a baby, relatively speaking!

But Wait, There's More!

Now, you might be thinking, "But in the show, they're supposed to be 13!" Well, hold onto your Eggo waffles, because here's where things get really interesting. In the Stranger Things universe, time is a bit... wonky. The kids might be 13 in the show, but in real life, Finn was a whole two years older than that when they were filming Season 3.

I know, I know. It's mind-blowing. It's like finding out that Eleven's Eggos aren't actually from the Upside Down, they're just from the grocery store. Shocking, right?

Age is Just a Number, Folks

But here's the thing. Despite being a little older than his character, Finn absolutely nailed the role of Mike. He brought that perfect mix of '80s charm, wit, and heart that we all love. And let's be real, who among us didn't have a crush on a slightly older kid at some point? I mean, come on. It's a rite of passage.

So, there you have it. Finn Wolfhard was 15 years old when they started filming Stranger Things Season 3. And while that might make you feel old (or young, depending on how you look at it), just remember: age is just a number. It's the adventures and the friendships that truly matter.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some Eggo waffles to attend to. Until next time, stay curious, and remember: the Upside Down is full of surprises. Just like Finn's age in Season 3.
