How Old Is William Shatner The Actor

So, I was watching Star Trek the other day, you know, just for old time's sake. And there's Captain Kirk, boldly going where no man has gone before, looking as sharp as ever. It got me thinking, "How old is William Shatner, the actor who brought that iconic character to life?"

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

I mean, it feels like just yesterday we were watching him beam down to new planets, and now, here we are, wondering if he's older than our grandparents. Isn't that always the way? Time flies when you're having fun, and let me tell you, Shatner has had a blast.

But seriously, folks, let's dive into the time machine and find out how old this legendary actor really is.

Born in the Roaring Twenties

William Shatner was born on March 22, 1931, in Montreal, Canada. That's right, he's a spring chicken, born just as the world was stepping into the Roaring Twenties. Imagine that, a time when jazz was king, and flappers were dancing the night away. Shatner was there, well, not there, but you get the picture.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Wow, that makes him older than my parents!" But hold on, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We're talking about an actor who's been in the game for over six decades. That's right, he's been entertaining us since the 1950s.

Age is Just a Number

You might think that at 91 years old, Shatner would be slowing down, but no, this guy is a force to be reckoned with. He's still acting, still writing books, and still making headlines. He even set a Guinness World Record for the oldest person to go into space in 2021. Talk about making history!

So, when you ask, "How old is William Shatner?" the answer is 91 years young. But remember, age is just a number. What really matters is the impact you make, and Shatner has certainly made his mark on the world.

Still Going Strong

Shatner's secret to longevity? Well, he once said, "I try to live my life as if I'm going to die tomorrow, but I also try to live my life as if I'm going to live forever." Sounds like a pretty good philosophy to me. It's all about seizing the day, living in the moment, and never giving up.

And that, my friends, is the story of William Shatner, the actor who's older than your grandparents but still going strong. So, the next time you watch Star Trek, remember, Captain Kirk is a lot older than he looks. But then again, so is William Shatner. And that's pretty darn cool.
