Where Is Kold Killa From Baddies From

Ever found yourself grooving to "Baddies" and wondered, "Where's Kold Killa from?" Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into a fun-filled journey to find out!

First Stop: The Windy City

Alright, so our man Kold Killa, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, hails from the vibrant, windy city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on October 9, 1999, he grew up in the Calliope Projects, a neighborhood known for its rich musical history.

Now, you might be thinking, "How did a kid from the projects become a viral sensation?" Well, my friend, that's where our story gets interesting.

From Basketball to Beats

Growing up, Killa was a basketball whiz. He even earned a scholarship to play at the University of Arizona. But fate, it seems, had other plans. After a knee injury sidelined his sports career, Killa turned his attention to music.

And boy, did he turn the music world on its head!

Enter: Kold Killa

In 2018, Gaulden dropped his first single, "No Handlebars," under the stage name Kold Killa. The track was an instant hit, racking up millions of views on YouTube and SoundCloud. His unique blend of trap, hip-hop, and rock caught the attention of fans and industry bigwigs alike.

But here's where things get really interesting. Killa's rise to fame was as sudden as it was unexpected. He didn't have a team of PR gurus or a massive marketing budget. No, Killa's fame was born out of the internet, fueled by memes, and propelled by the power of the people.

Viral Sensation

Remember the "Baddies" challenge? You know, the one where folks were dancing like they were trying to escape a swarm of bees? Yep, that was Kold Killa's brainchild. The challenge took the internet by storm, with everyone from celebrities to your grandma trying their hand at the viral dance.

And that, my friends, is how you go from playing basketball in the projects to becoming a viral sensation. Talk about a slam dunk!

So, Where's Kold Killa Now?

As of now, Killa's been busy in the studio, cooking up new tracks and teasing upcoming projects. He's also been using his platform to give back, hosting charity events and supporting local communities.

But don't worry, he hasn't forgotten his roots. Kold Killa's still the same humble, New Orleans native he's always been. He just happens to be a viral, chart-topping, dance-challenge-starting superstar too.

And there you have it, folks! The story of Kold Killa, from the Calliope Projects to the top of the charts. Isn't the internet a wild, wonderful place?
