Meet the Young Guns

Enhypen, also known as ENGENE to their fans, is a South Korean boy band formed by Belift Lab in 2020. Now, let's talk ages. When they debuted, the members were a mix of young and... well, younger!

Jungwon, the Eldest

Jungwon, the group's leader, was the oldest when they debuted. He was born in 1999, making him just 21 years old when Enhypen stepped into the spotlight. Now, that might not seem too young, but remember, these guys are in the K-pop industry, where even a year can make a big difference!

Heeseung, the '99 Line

Heeseung, another '99 liner, was also 21 when they debuted. These two are the oldest in the group, and let me tell you, they've got the wisdom of, well, 21-year-olds. wink

Jay, the Youngest

Now, let's talk about Jay, the baby of the group. Born in 2002, he was just 18 when Enhypen debuted. Can you believe it? An 18-year-old taking on the K-pop world! Talk about starting young.

The Middle Crew

In between these two age extremes, we have Jake (born in 2000), Sunoo (2000), and Sunghoon (2003). Jake and Sunoo were 20 and 21, respectively, when they debuted, while Sunghoon was 19. Quite the age range, huh?

Why Does It Matter?

You might be thinking, "Who cares how old they were? They're all grown-ups now!" And you're right, but age does play a role in K-pop. Debuting at a younger age can mean more time to grow and evolve as artists, and it also means these guys have been through a lot together already.

Plus, let's be real, seeing these youngsters achieve so much at such a young age is inspiring, right? It's like watching a bunch of baby birds leaving the nest and soaring high in the K-pop sky.

Growing Up Together

Now, a few years later, these guys have grown and changed so much. They've gone from rookies to seasoned idols, and they've done it all together. It's like watching a friendship blossom right before our eyes!
